GAME DESIGN
Passionate and proficient in designing and producing gameplay. The inner-workings behind the user experience and interaction is, to me, the most important part of any game. How it feels to play is the fundamental first step.
This video is a showcase of the attack moveset conversion I did for the main fighter in STE Melee: Godzilla. A fighting game character is quite complex, with hundreds of different things the player can do at any given time. One by one, I went through each aspect of the original character, and rethought everything with a modern perspective, and incorporated more references from Godzilla movies as brand new attacks.

Below is 1 hour of the updated gameplay loops in STE - Melee. Significantly different from the vanilla game - click for example. It is also noticably different from STEM v0.01's gameplay, which was more of an in-between from vanilla to today, the demo releasing a few years ago - click for example.

The Monster Manuals are the collective database for all 60 monsters planned for Godzilla: Save the Earth - Melee. There are currently 29 revealed with 31 more being unveiled over time. Vanilla STE had 18 monsters, and many of these monsters in STEM are brand new, while others are semi-clones and intentionally left similar to their derivative. Check out each monster's bio, their moveset plans (write-ups on how each monster plays,) and a list of all the currently confirmed skins! With many more monsters and skins on the way.
You can even click on the audio icon for each monster and their skin to listen to their in-game intro theme and roar.
As of right now, I am the sole moveset designer for all monsters in STEM. I will release guides on how to mod the game to acquire help producing more character movesets and gameplay-related design elements.
